About Me

This blog, like most others, is a collection of random thoughts, travel experiences and general observations on economics (lofty goal), business models across the globe. I do spend quite a bit of time trying to understand how and why things work and find myself lighting up when I figure that out and have caught myself boring my wife & anyone who is usually unwilling to listen on what I found out. So, this blog will likely serve as an outlet of the "aaha!!" moments that I have.

I am generally fascinated by retail business models that work across the globe. I have been fortunate to have been born in India and have spent a considerable amount of time in China and studying Shanghai businesses that I feel inspired by them. Further, I have had the good fortune to have had worked for Best Buy, the world's largest consumer electronics retail chain based in the US and have traveled to Mexico, China, Turkey and the UK helping them enter these markets, set up and manage their loyalty program, customer insights and pricing work streams.

So, more to come ..

  1. Hi Krishna,

I enjoyed speaking with you today. Your blog is interesting reading; I especially liked the post about entrepreneurship and Asia: "hustle or be hustled"!

Hopefully I will get the chance to speak with you more about helping BBY find the value in people and ideas everywhere.

    Thank you!
